Thank you for your interest in our effort to support the families, communities, and schools in our area School Districts through the WEEKEND FAMILY MATINEE  PROGRAM.

This program will bring quality G-rated movies to THE MAR THEATRE in Wilmington, IL for your families to enjoy, while also providing financial support to our local schools. 

The program consists of four (4) new G rated family movies, one of which will play every weekend for the next year at 3:30 PM on Saturday and 12:30 PM on Sunday, at The MAR Theater.  Each of the shows will run consecutively for 10 weeks with a 3 week repeat run in the summer to make sure every one who wants to attend has that opportunity.

An annual pass can be purchased by each family at a cost of $10.00 per person to see all four movies. (A savings of $2.00 for kids and $6.00 for parents over the regular matinee price.)  Families can purchase the passes online at www.visiplex.net or for $2.50 per movie at the MAR.

$5.00 from each pass sold will go to support education as follows:
$4.25 from each pass will go to the school or district in which the customer resides.
$.25 from each pass sold will go to both the Wilmington and Peotone Education Foundations
$.25 from each pass sold will go to the Granite Education Foundation, which is the national sponsoring organization of the program.

Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 annually for the school districts participating in this effort and at the same time make sure the families in our area have positive, uplifting films which strengthen the home and the community.
